Figure Skating

Highland Ice Arena is home to the Highland Skating Club and a dedicated team of figure skating coaches.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are scheduled directly with the coach of your choice. Skaters will pay their coach directly for the lesson and must also pay the rink for their ice time (public or freestyle). For coach bios and contact information please visit the Highland Skating Club website.

Off-Ice Classes (September-June)

Stretch Class, Saturdays, 9-9:50am

Strength & Conditioning Class, Saturdays, 1:30-2:30pm

Skater Development Program (Summer Training)

Intensive on-ice and off-ice training for competitive figure skaters.

Includes a bridge program for skaters Freeskate 1 and up. The bridge program is designed to help skaters transition from group classes to a more competitive skating environment.

Lights, Camera, Action!

Friday, June 10, 2016 at 7:30pm

Come watch our class skaters show off their new skills in Highland Skating School's spring exhibition. The show will feature group performances by Highland's production classes, Seattle Ice Theatre, Washington Ice Emeralds, and The Highlanders, as well as solo performances by our class and competitive skaters.

Tickets are not required and admission to the show is free.
